My Go-To, Everyday Makeup

January 22, 2020

Hello my beauties! I hope you are having a good start to your week. Today I want to share with you my favorite, everyday makeup. There isn’t a piece of everything I use on my face but that’s because I change them often and don’t have one favorite that I will use two days in a row. Let’s jump in and see what I’ve picked.

On the day to day, I don’t wear heavy foundations but I do love wearing my It Cosmetics CC+ Cream in Fair. It has a good amount of coverage but doesn’t run the risk of looking cakey when layered with powder. I then use my concealer which is the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define concealer in C1 or C3. I then bake my under eyes with my Laura Mercier translucent powder. I set my eyelids with my Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 003 Natural. This is my basic face for the every day.

To set my whole face I like to use the Laura Geller Baked, Balance -N- Glow Illuminating Foundation in Porcelain. It gives me this glowy look without looking shimmery. I then use one of my favorite blushes, again by Laura Geller, is her Baked Blush-N-Brighten in ‘Tropic Hues’. I got a little sample of this color and loved it so much that I bought the full size (and an extra when I found out I would no longer be able to get Laura Gellar). It looks dark but it works great on my fair skin. I’ve been loving this Gigi Gorgeous The Sick Sculpt bronzer in Turnt and Extra that I got in one of my beauty boxes. I like that it’s a duo, one lighter for bronzing and one darker for contouring. Then I use what may be one of my holy grail highlighters, the one made for the Maybelline and NikkieTutorials collaboration. I can’t seem to find it anymore at Ulta, which is where this color was sold, so I’m glad I purchased a few extra. Luckily it was drugstore pricing so it wasn’t too terrible buying two more.

On days when I’m feeling lazy or just want a bit of makeup, I will use my Colourpop Super Shock shadows. The two I’m loving right now are Ladybird and Lovely. They are also in this year’s Project Pan, if you want to check it out click here. I may have just purchased the Huda Beauty Nude Light palette but it has become an everyday staple. It’s perfect for the day to day with a hint of pink. I always keep the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette nearby because it’s just the perfect matte palette. Not pictured is the mascara I use. I’ve been loving the Mile High Wander Beauty mascara. It’s great at giving a natural look to my lashes, kind of a “my lashes but better” look.

I prefer lipgloss on my day to day. I love the Buxom Full on Lip Polish in Tonya. It gives me a nice tingle with a bit of plumping action. The color is not as bright on the lips as they do in the tube. I also have fallen head over heels for Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine in Vibrant Raspberry. This is as pigmented on the lips as it is in the tube. I think that this will be the first lip gloss I may actually finish. If I’m in the mood for a bullet lipstick I automatically reach for my Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter on 053 Sorbet. They’re discontinued but I have three that I love and I’m hoping to get a few more from Amazon. Lip products are some of my favorite products.
