First and foremost, can we just admire this gorgeous makeup bag that I got from Tuesday Morning? I’ve had it for close to two years and it’s still going strong. It’s a zipper pouch with a typical lining inside and the outside is a soft plastic/rubber type product. Plus, it holds a ton! Now that you know what’s on the outside of the bag, let’s see what’s on the inside!

If you had read my first weekly makeup bag post, you will definitely recognize some familiar players. What got carried over:
– Too Faced Hangover RX primer- Maybelline Better Skin Concealer- Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Setting Powder- Soap and Glory Kick Ass powder-
What’s new:
Concealer– Dark Circle Concealer by NYX This is a new product to me, so the jury is still out. Hopefully I will make up my mind soon and you’ll see a review go up. This will cost you $5.99 for 0.10oz of product.
Foundation– It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream in the shade Light. I completely adore this product even though it’s a shade or two too dark. You get a buildable medium to full coverage from this and I find it works well for fancy events as well as those ‘no makeup’ makeup days. There is a bit of a citrus scent but it has never really bothered me and once it’s on your skin, it dissipates quickly. I can’t wait to finish this off so I can get the proper shade but that does say something about it, if you accidently go one or two shades too dark the cream can be sheered out by your Beauty Blender (or sponge of preference). You can find this at Ulta (and Sephora) for $38 for 1.08oz of product.
Eve Pearl, Pearl FX HD Cream Liquid Foundation inthe shade Light. I just did a review of this foundation last Sunday, give it a read here to get the complete lowdown on this foundation. I like this foundation, it again is good for those ‘no makeup’ makeup days because it has a light coverage that can be built up to a medium coverage. It is currently on sale on her site for $38 for 1oz of product.

For the cheek products, I changed all of the pieces!
Blush–NARS Blush in Orgasm This is a mini version of the blush that came in, this year I believe, Ulta’s birthday gift. I have the full size of Super Orgasm and I truly love both of them. I wanted to try something a little subtler than the blinding glitter (that I love) of Super Orgasm, enter the original. The full size of this blush will cost you $30 for 0.16oz of product from Ulta.
Milani Cosmetics Rose Powder Blush in 08 Tea Rose. I am not normally a matte blush person, I can probably count the matte blushes I have on one hand, but I truly love this one. No, it’s not just because it’s in the shape of a rose although that does help but it’s because the product is truly a quality product. I find the blush itself to be smooth and easy to apply and this color is a nice natural light flush on my cheeks. You can get this from CVS, Wallgreens, anywhere that carries it but I found it on their website for $8.99.
Bronzer– Benefit Hoola Bronzer Mini This was something I bought for my Aunt’s wedding last year and at the time I considered giving it away after the event because I didn’t really wear bronzer. Well, I didn’t get rid of it and I am trying to learn to contour and bronze so I’m really glad I kept this because I really like it for contouring. I would like to try the light version though because this can be a little too dark for me sometimes. For the mini you will pay $16 for 0.14oz and for the regular size you will get 0.28oz of product for $30.
Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer Actually this is a mini of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in the color Park Ave Princess. I included this one in last week’s bag because, as I said, I’m trying to learn to use bronzer and this was shimmery and didn’t look too intimidating. For the full size of this product you will get 0.32oz of product for $30.
Highlighter– MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in the cult classic, Soft and Gentle. This was the first highlighter I ever bought about four years ago and, even with using it a lot, I have barely made a dent in it. This is really complimentary on fair skin tones and depending on the brush you use, can be a very subtle highlight or it can be very bold. At Ulta, this costs $34 for 0.35oz.

What’s come over from last week?
-Soap and Glory Archery Brow Gel in Blonde Luck- Anastasia of Beverly Hills Perfect Brow pencil in Blonde- Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Liner in Nude-
Eyeliner– Liner Pencil in Brown. Unfortunately I don’t know the brand name or the color name because it’s in a language I can’t read, and I have no clue how much it cost. BUT it’s a really nice creamy eyeliner that doesn’t tug at my eyes and has pretty good staying power. Any brown kohl eyeliner would do the trick nicely.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Smoke. I like to use this color when I want a dark liner but I don’t want black. It’s a softer charcoal grey and has fantastic staying power. You can pick up this pencil for $21 for 0.04oz of product. I’ve found that since I don’t have to press as hard as I do with other pencils, this lasts longer.
Mascara- Urban Decay Perversion Mascara This is one of my favorite high end mascaras. It ties for tip place with Too Face’s Better than Sex mascara. I find that, even though this mascara is not said to be waterproof it certainly has staying power. This is a fantastic mascara all around, especially if you love dark black lashes. This tube of mascara will cost you $24 for 0.4oz of product.

As you can tell by this picture, I definitely have a weak spot for lip products. I only have one product carrying over from last week and that is the Rimmel Kate Matte collection lipstick in 107.
Lipstick– Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate in 10, which is a blue toned red. As far as I can tell, they don’t sell the black tubed Kate collection lipsticks in the states anymore. I find that truly disappointing because I really liked the formula. It glided on to my lips well and made the feel nourished. The lasting time was about what you’d expect from a bright red, not liquid, lipstick.
– Too Faced lipstick in the color Wham! I am so sad that I don’t see these gold tubed lipsticks sold by them anymore. I got this in a Christmas trio that came in a teal blue, glitter covered case with an Eiffel Tower zipper pull. This is a gorgeous mauve-y purple with a slight blue reflect. Also, it is a cream formula which I prefer in my lipsticks. I saw nothing like this on their site or on Ulta’s site.
(Not Pictured)Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Sucre. I am in love with this formula! It’s matte but it’s not drying and even though it doesn’t completely dry, I find the wear time to be pretty impressive. This is the lip product I probably wore most during the week. For $24 you get 0.04oz of product.
Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick in the color Kiss kiss, Bang Bang from Marc Jacobs. I only have this in the mini version but I fully intend to purchase the regular size once this one is done which will probably be sooner rather than later. This formula is so creamy (see a recurring theme?) and it just glides onto my lips. As well, the color is really rich and pigmented and wears evenly so you don’t have lipstick patches all over your lips. The full size of this product is $30 for 0.12oz of product.
Lip Gloss– Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss in number 302 Allow Me. I like this gloss because it isn’t sticky or gloopy. I like to wear it as a lip topper over some of my darker lipsticks. The gloss itself has a nice rosy shimmer. The glitter is just the tiniest bit gritty when applying it but then I never feel it again. For 0.16oz of product you will pay $28.
Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Polish Gloss in the color Tonya which is described as being a ‘Malibu Pink’. It’s definitely a bright pink and it looks great topped over a pink lipstick. There is definitely a lot of sparkle and glitter in it, but I really don’t mind it. As for plumping, I’ve honestly never really looked but I do like the tingly sensation on my lips. You will pay $21 for 0.15oz of product.
Lip Crayon– Revlon Balm Stain in Sweetheart. I love the lip products that are in crayon format, it just makes me happy. Out of all of the ones that have been released over the past few years I really feel that Revlon’s line of lip crayons, with three different finishes, truly are the best. They do cost a pretty penny, though, coming in at $9.49 for just 0.1oz of product.
We’ve reached the final segment, eyes! The products I talked about last week: -NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils-
Eye Prep– NYX Proof It Eye Primer in Transparent. I’m still getting used to using this because I’ve always just used the NYX Jumbo eye pencil in 604 Milk. So far, I think it’s a pretty good product but I’m going to withhold judgment for another couple weeks so I can give it a fair shot. You get 0.23oz of product for $6.99.
Eye Crayon– Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow in the color Rose Gold. I like to use this when I’m running short on time and just want a wash of color over my lids without messing with a brush. This is the mini size I got as a point perk from Sephora. For $29 you will receive 0.05oz of product.
Eyeshadow Palettes– Wet n’ Wild limited edition palette in Vinyl Collection. This has to be one of the only limited edition collections of anything that I have all the pieces to. This is my favorite palette from the, I believe, six palette collection. For the price, they are really good eyeshadows and really good for day to day use.
Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow palette This is the original large palette that they came out with about a year ago. I adore this palette and I am so glad that I talked myself into getting it. The range of colors in the palette is really impressive and the formulation and quality is top notch. You can get this palette for $38 and will get 35 gorgeous eyeshadows in return. Here is a look I created with the palette last week.
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill The Vault palette in Ring the Alarm. This is one of the palettes from Jaclyn Hill’s newest release with Morphe. I love warm tones so this palette just screamed at me until I put it into my basket. There is a nice combination of mattes and varying degrees of shimmers. The quality in this palette is that of her first, larger palette with Morphe which makes me ecstatic. For this 10 pan palette you will pay $15.
And that’s it folks! I really need to learn to make these shorter… Anyway, I hope you enjoyed. As always, none of these links are affiliate links, they are just the places I found to link the products so you could get a better look and buy them if you wanted to. I will always be 100% truthful and honest with you guys. Thanks for reading, I’ll see you real soon!
