It’s in the Bag Saturday: This Week’s Favorites

Hello my beauties, I hope everyone is having a great start to your weekend. Today, I am going to tell you about my favorite products from this week’s makeup box which has been substituted for my usual bag.

My favorite base products this week were the Revlon Colorstay Full Cover Foundation in 150 Buff and the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 10 Fair. Revlon was one of the first brands that I ever bought a foundation from and I loved them so much I thought I would give them another try. So far I like it but keep your eyes peeled for a full review of this product. I’ve used the Maybelline Fit Me concealer before but not how I’m using this shade. I’m using it as a highlighter to bring some brightness into my face. This was the first week I had tried it after watching tons of YouTube instruction videos. I feel it went very well for it being the first time I was trying the technique.

For my contour I’ve really been loving the ABH powder contour kit in light to medium and for blush I used my Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Adored. I mainly use the shade Fawn in the contour palette, it’s the perfect mid tone with a bit of a grey undertone. I haven’t used Adored in a hot minute but I’m so glad I pulled it out for this week because I was reminded of how pretty it is on the skin.

I’m getting back into wearing false lashes and I have a lot of these Miss Adoro lashes and I’ve really been enjoying them. These were a bit nerve wracking for me because they are fuller than any lash I usually wear.

From the ABH mini matte lipstick set, I mainly used the color orchid. The matte isn’t too matte- it’s a very comfortable formula. I also had my two favorite Too Faced Melted lipsticks in Melted Peony and Melted Candy. Melted Candy is a gorgeous bright pink with a bit of red tone. I love the formula of the original, it’s very comfortable and wears really well.

That’s it! For once, this post wasn’t twenty years long. Did you have any favorites this week? As always, be bold, be beautiful, be YOU!
