Hello my beauties and thanks for stopping by! It’s What I Think Wednesday, which means another review! Today I will be talking about Garnier BB Cream. I used to use tinted moisturizers/ BB creams/ CC creams every single day when I was in highschool and for the first year of college. I hadn’t used on in a while but as I started getting busier, I thought that adding one back into my routine for those very quick makeup days would be a good idea.

I had used Garnier and Aveeno when I was in school so I decided to pick up one by Garnier since I knew it agreed with my skin. Specifically I chose the Garnier Skin Active BB Cream 5- in- 1 Miracle Skin Perfector for Oily to Combo skin in light to medium. I picked mine up from Amazon but I know you can get it in stores too. I was let down by this product. I was expecting a lotion texture like I had had before but instead it is runny and feels like water, and not in a good way. It is difficult to control how much comes out and it winds up going everywhere. Then, when I apply it I need to use a damp sponge to get rid of all of the streaks. Yes, I know BB creams, CC Creams, etc. are going to be streaky when you apply it with your hands but this is bordering on ridiculous. I’m starting to think I should just apply it with a brush and sponge to not have to blend it in when applied with my hands. That’s still a lot of work. Lose lose. This product does have SPF 20 which gives it a very strong sunscreen smell when you put it on. The scent does dissipate after a while but it is a very strong smell. I will finish up this product since I did purchase it and I don’t want to waste it. Once it’s finished I think I will purchase one of the Dr. Jart BB creams from Ulta. I’ve used them before and I really like his BB Creams. I still have my much loved IT Cosmetics CC cream but sometimes that is too heavy so I want to have a BB cream as an option.

So… There’s that. This is only one opinion though, so I would suggest finding other reviews plus mine to help you decide if you want to try the Garnier BB cream. There are different ones, so maybe I just picked the wrong one. Do you have a BB cream/ CC cream/ tinted moisturizer that you really like and would recommend? I would really love to know!
