Hello my beauties and welcome back to another installment of my monthly favorites! I love doing the monthly faves the most because I get to look back and see what I’ve been using a lot without thinking about it. As usual, at the end of the post I will be sharing some of my non-beauty favorites.

Right now, getting my hair dyed professionally isn’t an option so I went back to using box die and I am IN LOVE with this color maybe even a little bit more than I love the color I get at the hairdressers. The color I chose is the L’Oreal Feria C74 Copper Crave (Intense Copper) and it is my perfect most favorite shade! If you didn’t know, my hair is naturally a light to mid tone blonde but I feel the red fits my personality better and it also looks good with my pale skin. I will definitely be buying this again.

The lip products I’ve been loving this month are the Revlon Colorbursts and the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb. The colorbursts, I believe, are discontinued because I don’t see them in store anymore and I can only get them on Amazon (and possibly Ebay but I haven’t checked). I’ve been wearing Revlon Colorburst colors 053 ‘Sorbet’, 063 ‘Wild Watermelon’, and 075 ‘Lollipop’ and in the Fenty Gloss Bomb I have the limited edition color in Diamond Milk. I will definitely be looking in to getting another color when the VIB sale rolls around. That list is getting longer and longer, hah!

I’ve rediscovered my love for the Morphe Continuous Setting Spray. I had picked this up around this time last year for the spring musical and when the show was done, I had two cans left and this is the last one I have. I have others I’m still working on but I will eventually repurchase it. The foundation I have been head over heels for this month is the Revolution Fast Base stick foundation in F3. I love it so much I just got two more backups during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty. I usually am not a fan of stick foundations because they run out so quickly but these are the right price and their coverage is phenomenal.

I’ve finally gotten into bronzers, better late than never right? I decided to give the very famous Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. I didn’t get the lightest shade because that looked way too pale, I got the ‘Bronzer’ shade which was one up. I’ve also rediscovered how much I love the MAC ‘Jest’ frost eyeshadow. I have decided that it is my top shadow for my inner corner and for my brow bone. It can also be a good wash across the eyelid for a bit of subtle color.

The scent I’ve loved this month is the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rollerball in ‘French Grey’. This one makes my third rollerball from the Nirvana collection, I also have White and Black. The scent is very soft but not in a floral way, it’s just comforting and relaxing.

My top books from this monty are “The Light Over London” by Julia Kelly and “Girl, Stop Apologizing” by Rachel Hollis One fiction and one not, I’m trying to expand my reading from only fiction books to others as well. It helps because my Aunt and I do this where we alternate who gets to pick the book and we’ll listen to it and then discuss. The world’s smallest book club, haha.

Now, this time I have two favorite apps. I’ve mentioned Headspace before and I will gladly mention it again. I used to be really really bad at meditating now I’m only bad at it. I like how you have three sets of basics to go through and then you also have ones that can speak to you and what is going on around you. The new app I discovered this past month is an app called Elevate. It’s kind of like that Brain Games Nintendo DS game but much better. It focuses on math and reading and writing with many different games. You have daily training that you do and there are badges you can earn as you progress through the games. It’s $38 for a year with a free fourteen day trial. I was more than happy to pay for the year.

The soundtrack I’ve been listening to on repeat is the Hamilton soundtrack. I have learned more about history from that time and of Hamilton from this musical than I’d learned at school. It’s long but it’s so totally worth it.
Thank you so much for joining me for this month’s favorites! What did you really love this month? I’d love to hear from you! Have a great start to your week. XO
