For yesterday’s post, I wanted to share what I had purchased at the current VIB sale (which ends on the sixth, btw). Since I went out late last night to pick up my goodies, I ran out of time to share them so here they are now! I will provide links when possible so you can check them out if you’re interested. I would love to know what you got, so be sure to share below! It’s not the largest haul in the world but it’s also not the smallest by any means. I love reading these types of posts so I hope you do to. Here’s what I picked up:

Let’s start with skincare. Above you see the Sephora Collection Ultra Glow Serum: Glow + Strengthen Vitamin C Serum. It cost $20 and you can get it in store and online and it’s a new product! Since I only got it yesterday I have no opinions about it yet but I’ve been hunting for my first serum and I chose this because of the price and description. It also has the Sephora “Clean at Sephora” stamp on it, which really pushed me closer to buying it. Below is the Peter Thomas Roth ‘Mask Frenzy’ mask set and I picked that up for $75. I believe this was actually the most expensive product I bought at the sale this time. I had had itty bitty minis of three of his masks and I really liked them so I wanted to get a larger size and try the other masks he had. I’m most excited to try the Pumpkin Enzyme mask because I’ve heard people talk about how much they love it so I hope to love it!

I picked up the Fresh New Day, Nude You mini lip balm set for $44 for my mom for Mother’s Day. I had remembered her having one of their lip balms once that she had found in a clearance store and that she liked it. I knew she would never buy one for herself so I thought this would be a great idea. We’ll find out next week 😊 I picked up a Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Psycho. I love the Vice lipsticks and I didn’t own a Comfort Matte formula so I thought I’d give it a try. Psycho is a really bright rose color with a blue iridescent shimmer in it that gives a nice depth to the shade. I also bought my best friend from elementary school a Tarte liquid lipstick. She had helped me with a job earlier that morning so I wanted to say ‘Thank you’ for all of her help. I needed help doing a young lady’s hair for prom because I had been booked to do her hair and makeup. I will be doing a post about that experience soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

The biggest reason I went in store was because I wanted a new higher end foundation that had great coverage. I really wanted to try the Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation with an SPF of 15. Turns out my proper shade is 12S- Fair Sand, the second lightest shade. The foundation cost $39. When she tested it on me, I couldn’t even feel it! I wore it for the rest of the day and as the day went on, I became happier and happier with my choice of foundation. The next one I want to try is the Estee Lauder Double Wear.

Now for my most favorite purchase of the day. Okay, yes, I’ve loved each thing but this was the most exciting purchase I made. I purchased the Marc Jacobs O! Mega Glaze All-Over-Foil Luminizer- Runway Collection. It was $49 and so totally worth it. I’ve only swatched it, but it’s gorgeous! When I saw this on the Sephora site, I fell for it. I always had admired the big bronzers he made but I just started doing bronzer and I’m happy with the two small ones I have. I have lots of highlighters because they are probably my favorite face product. I was so happy to see that this would work well for fair skin. Once I knew that, I could not get my mind off of it. It will take years to get through it but that’s more of an investment, right?

And that’s it for my VIB Sale haul! No, one more thing- I made VIB Rouge! In a million years I never dreamed of reaching Rouge. But, I did it! Woo! Not the most and not the least, I am so happy with what I got because I had researched and researched to make sure I was making good decisions.
