Hello my beauties! I’m going to share with you all of the things I’ve been loving this past month. I have both skincare and makeup favorites so I’ve split everything up into two sections to make it more cohesive. Let’s jump right in!

I’ve really been enjoying all of my Laneige products, I have a grand total of three. I know it’s not a lot but it’s the perfect amount for me right now. I have been adoring the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Vanilla ($20). It’s really moisturizing and hydrating. I love applying this overnight and when I wake up my lips are soft and hydrated. The Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask ($34) was actually the first Laneige product I ever owned. I love the applicator. The ball on the end is cooling and makes it easy to apply and easy to blend in to the skin. The final Laneige product I own is the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask in Lavender (Limited Edition-$25). For how much product you get I think the prices are in the nice mid range for products of this quality.

I picked up the Sephora Ultra Glow Serum: Glow + Strengthen Vitamin C Serum for $20 during this past VIB sale. I use this in the morning before I do my gel-cream moisturizer. This is opposite of what I usually do, moisturizer first then oils and serums. But it seems to be working quite nicely. I got the Clinique Pep-Start eye cream as a 250 VIB point perk. If I had purchased it then it would have set me back $26.50. I like the applicator tip which is a ball, it has a hole in the center and that is where the product comes out. I don’t know if I was just reading it wrong or if the instructions are actually confusing but it took me two freaking days to figure out how to open it. I started by popping the whole top off and dipping it in the cream. I felt so stupid once I figured it out (accidentally!).

Let’s start with my base favorites. There are two foundations I’ve been loving this month, the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation in ‘Light Sand’ for $39 from Sephora. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It has a buildable medium coverage and doesn’t look cakey when layered up. The other one I have been totally loving is from the drugstore/Ulta is the Maybelline Dewy and Smooth foundation in 105 ‘Fair Ivory’ for $7.99. Very affordable. I love Maybelline makeup, I have this foundation and the matte version and the Superstay foundation and their cushion foundation. I have also been in love with the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer in C1 and C3 that I get from Ulta for $7 each from the normal size. This is great under the eyes and really covers blemishes well. I really like the doe foot applicator because it allows the application to be more precise.

There are three palettes I have been absolutely adoring this past month. I’ve been using the Maybelline City Mini palette in ‘Matte About Town’. I picked mine up from Ulta for $9.99. I’ve been using this almost every day this month because since it’s all mattes it allows me to wear palettes that are full shimmer or just lack matte shadows. I have loved using the Tarte Dream Big palette that I got in my first Ipsy box. If you want to purchase it, it will cost you $30 and I think it’s worth it especially for traveling. Finally, my third palette, and the one I loved the most this month is the Perception palette from Colourpop. Unfortunately it is no longer available but I’m sure you could find replacement shadows in their pressed formula. It comes with a great mirror which makes it great to travel and it’s not a super big palette either making it, again, good for travel. I had one single shadow that I loved and that is the Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in the color ‘Amaze’. This was one of the first colors I bought and it’s still going strong plus it’s only $6!. It’s a great color for the everyday, especially on fair to medium skin tones.

It’s no secret that I love highlighters and surprisingly for this month I’ve been loving the first highlighter I had ever bought, the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in ‘Soft and Gentle’ and it’s $35. It’s domed and I am finally witteling down the dome! It’s a great first highlight because it’s soft but can be built up to blinding. What else I’ve loved is the Essence Clear lash and brow gel, which is only $2.99. It’s got a medium hold so it doesn’t leave my brows too crunchy. The perfume I’ve loved this month is the Elizabeth and James Nirvana French Grey perfume. It’s a soft scent so it won’t give you a headache. I like having these in rollerball which makes them easier to apply and not waste an ounce. I can’t find it on the Sephora website so I don’t know if they’re going to stop carrying the Elizabeth and James brand or if they’re clearing out old stock to make way for new.

And there we have it! That’s quite a lot but I really did love all of these products! What have you been loving? I’d love to know, so leave it down below!
