Hello my beauties! I was inspired today by Jen Phelps on Instagram to do a makeup look throwback using some of my first pieces of makeup. They aren’t the original products but they are the same products I used when I started using makeup. I hope you will enjoy today’s post!

Let’s start with the base:
Primer- Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating Primer
Foundation- Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation in 105 Fair Ivory
Concealer- Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5 Ivory and 10 Fair
Powder- Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 003 Natural
The Spackle primer is only a year or two old but it’s the oldest one I had in my collection because I had just used up my Too Faced Hangover Rx which was my first ever primer. After Clinique, my first foundations were by Maybelline and I still love their foundations to this day. The concealer isn’t my favorite, they aren’t the best colors bt I can make them work. The Rimmel Stay Matte was the first pressed or loose powder I ever used and I still love to use it to this day.

Now to brighten up the complexion:
Blush- ELF powder blush in Twinkle Pink
Bronzer- Tarte Park Ave Princess
Highlighter- MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle
I’ve had this ELF blush for what feels like forever but it’s still just as beautiful as the day I bought it. The Tarte bronzer was the first ever bronzer I tried and now that I use bronzer on the day to day, I’m using it way more. The MAC Mineralize Skin Finish has cult status and for a good reason. It’s great for my fair skin, and has a nice sheen when applied. This was the first highlighter I had ever purchased.

Eyes and Brows:
Eye Primer- NYX Proof It! eye primer
Brows- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo in Taupe
Waterline- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil in Perversion
Upper Lash Line- ELF Cream liner in Black
Mascara- L’Oreal Voluminous Primer and Carbon Black
Eyeshadow:
Palette- Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
Transition- Limit
Crease- Nooner
Lid- Buzz
Halo- Dust
This palette was my very first high end palette and I still love it to this day even though it’s years old. The quality is still there and they still perform as they did on the day that I bought the palette. I just love all of the rosy pink tones that this palette offers. Even if I had to throw it out because it went bad or shattered, I would immediately go and pick up another one!

Finishing Touches:
Setting Spray- Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
Lips- Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 075 Lollipop
When I started using setting spray, I didn’t mess around. I went straight for the one everyone was talking about and while I’ve added to my spray collection, this is still my number one for every day. I know, the Revlon Colorburst is so old it’s discontinued but the formula is still fine, it smells fine, and it doesn’t irritate me so I keep using them. They are seriously some of my favorite lip products because they’re so hydrating but pack such a punch with the color.
Here is the look I created using these products. I just now realized though that my lips had worn off, but they were there earlier I swear. I like the soft romantic looks you can get with the Naked 3 palettes. Using products that were some of my first products reminded me how much I used to love said product, or not love it in the concealers case. I don’t hate them, they’re just not my favorites. What are some of your OG products that still have or have repurchased time and again? I’d love to know so be sure to pop it in the comments down below!
