My Top 5 Eye and Face palettes

Hello my beauties and welcome back to another Sunday post! Today I want to share with you my top 5 eye and face palettes. This was definitely no easy feat but I was finally able to narrow it down to the 10 you will see below. I will try to like to as many palettes as possible if you want to check them out. These are not affiliate links and I make nothing if you click on and purchase from them, I supply them to enable your shopping habit 😂 Let’s start with eyeshadow palettes.

First up is the Morphe Jaclyn Hill palette as you can tell by the packaging and the dented shadows, I really love this palette. I love warm toned colors but I also love a pop of color and I LOVE the pops of color she put into this palette. I especially love the teals. The quality is really nice with this palette. The shadows are nicely pigmented and they blend quite nicely as well.

Next is the Huda Beauty The New Nude eyeshadow palette. This is easily in my top two of my favorite palettes. The colors are so soft and lovely, and the shimmers really pack a punch. It did definitely reinvent the way we look at nude shadows, instead of taupes and browns we have lilac and rose. I love using this when I am going out anywhere where I want to look glam but not heavy.

Here we have the Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Soft Glam’ palette. This palette contains a shadow which I have in my Project Pan. If you’d like to check that out, click here. This was one of the first ABH palettes I ever purchased. I like the neutrals but I also like how pigmented the shimmers are. They do pack one heck of a punch when it comes to color pay off, that is for sure. There can be a bit of fallout but I don’t really mind because it’s easy enough to wipe away.

Now for my first ever high end palette, the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. This too has a color in my Project Pan for this year. I still love this palette because I can create foolproof looks without too much worry or effort. This is the palette I go to when I am having trouble deciding what to do. The looks are soft and simple, perfect for the every day.

Up next is the Colourpop It’s a Princess Thing from the Disney Designer Collection. For me this is a great everyday palette, it’s got the right neutrals and mattes with some really nice shimmers to complete the look. I love the Colourpop formula and they definitely didn’t drop the ball on that front one bit which made me really happy.

Now we’re going to move onto face palettes. There is a contour palette, blush palette, and three face palettes. Let’s check them out!

Up first is my Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Contour Kit. You can still get this at Sephora but I actually got mine at Marshalls for half the price and I’m so glad I did. This is my favorite contour kit I own with the center contour shade being my favorite. It’s cool toned but is also light enough for my fair skin.

Up next is something new that came out at Christmas. The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Quad. I love the Ambient Lighting edits but this is very easily my favorite. There are the normal blushes that Hourglass has and then there are the ones that have a bit more shimmer to them. I feel like I have a blush for every time of the year!

This is the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette. I loved the original highlighter so much that when this came out, I snatched it up. I really love the blushes in this palette, especially the top left hand one. It’s bright but if you use a light hand it looks quite nice. I like having the three blushes and the two different highlighters. It gives me some choice when I’m putting together a look.

This is the first Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit that they ever released. I know it looks like I never use it but I assure you do most certainly do. You only need a tiny bit of product to blush, bronze, highlight, and finish your face. I like that I have all of those choices right at my fingertips. I do have to use a smaller brush because the pans are a bit small but other than that, I love seeing what they come out with every year at the holidays.

Finally, I have the Natasha Denona Bloom Blush and Glow Palette. I am surprised by how much I love this palette, especially the cream blush color. It looks dark but when applied with a damp beauty blender, it gives the most beautiful glow. I also really like that the two cream products on top are covered by a plastic door so that kick up from the powders will not get into them and taint the cream products.

There you have it, my top 5 eye palettes and my top 5 face palettes. What are some of your favorites? I’m always on the lookout for something new to try.
