Hello, my beauties and thank you for stopping by! How many of you have seen the ad on Instagram about a haircare brand called Function of Beauty? It looks fabulous, doesn’t it? Well I needed new shampoo and conditioner so I took the plunge and bought the 16oz bottles of both their shampoo and conditioner. Keep reading to see what I think of this ‘Instagram sensation’!

First, let me tell you my ‘hair profile’. I listed my hair as straight, medium, and normal. The hair goals I chose are lengthening, color protection, strengthen, hydrate, and deep condition. I picked the color pink for my shampoo and purple for my conditioner so I can easily tell them apart and I picked the Cherry Blossom scent at the medium strength. I didn’t get any of the masks or serums but I will be getting them sometime in the future. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I’m going to tell you what I think about this product. In short? I absolutely adore it! I am so so SO glad I decided to actually try something from an Instagram ad. I have been using them both three to four times a week for a little over a month and I can really see a difference. My hair isn’t breaking so much when I style (my hair is in a pixi cut, by the way, and is colored red). Also, my hair feels so much silkier and healthier I can’t even believe the difference. The scent is perfect at the medium strength but if you like stronger or weaker scents, they’ve got you covered. The shipping was really fast, I had my package in about a week. The bottles come sealed tightly with a screw cap and a stopper so they won’t leak but in the box; they include two pumps that reach all the way to the bottom of the 16 oz bottles, which I thought was great because I wasn’t looking forward to trying to pour out my hair product. They also have deep conditioners and serums for hair, I don’t know if they’re scented but I hope they are, I didn’t pick any up when I made my first purchase but I’m thinking of adding them to my next shipment in August. Ah, okay, shipping is free if you set it up to ship out to you every 3 or 6 months otherwise I think it’s about $7 or $8. They also have 8 oz size bottles if you don’t want to splash out on the 16 oz until you are sure you like it. So I just went with auto-ship figuring that if I didn’t like the product, I would cancel it. Hands down this is the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever owned.
