Hello my beauties, and welcome back to my blog! Today, we’re going back to the basics- my favorite lip care products! To get your lip products to lay right, you need to be treating your lips with loving care. Let’s get started!

Let’s start with the lip scrubs. My favorite lip scrub has to be the Lush Mint Julips lip scrub. This is either my second or third jar of the stuff. I absolutely love it. It’s made from sugar so if you accidentally eat some, no big deal. You won’t be ingesting bad chemicals into your body. They have a lot of great flavors, it’s definitely worth checking out. The other lip scrub I have is the Lip Scrubitious from MAC in Fruit of Passion. Unlike the Lush one, I don’t lick this one off. I wipe this scrub off with a soft cloth. I just started using it so the jury is still out about my full thoughts but so far I am enjoying it.

Now for what goes on after the scrub, the lip balms. First, we have Carmex. This is a great lip balm and it’s in every drugstore going. It’s simple, no scent, and it’s on the heavier side which I like. I don’t like oily or light lip balms, I feel they do nothing. This is a product great for day or night. I also love the Laneige Lip Glowy Balm. Which, yes I know, is more oily but for some reason, I don’t mind it with this product. I wear this balm mostly during the day. It is lighter but it keeps my lips moisturized. so that totally works for me. I bet you can guess the last product! That’s right, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Original (which is berry). This is my favorite lip balm, hands down. It is heavier but not super heavy so that it’s uncomfortable. The scent is amazing (although I prefer the Vanilla) but it’s not overpowering which is really nice. I don’t just wear this at night. If my lips are feel particularly parched, I will slather this on and my lips immediately start to feel better.
