Hello, my beauties and thank you for stopping by today! Today’s post is a makeup look that is a springtime look. With the nasty weather we’ve been having out here recently, and with the quarantine’s going on, I figured a bright springy look would be just the thing to brighten our day. I’m going to share with you all of the products I used for today’s look. I’m most excited to share my newest Colourpop palette with you! Let’s get to it π

Primer: First Aid Beauty coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer
Foundation: IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream in Fair
Concealer: Revolution Conceal and Define concealer in C1 and C3
Powder: Laura Geller Baked Balance -N- Glow Illuminating Foundation
Since this is a springtime look, I wanted my base to look fresh and natural and when I want that I go straight for my IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream because it has goo coverage without feeling or looking heavy. I have the original formulation which is neither matte or glowy.

Eye Primer: NYX Jumbo Pencil in 604 Milk
Eye setting powder: Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 003 Natural
Blushes: Stila Convertible Color in Petunia and Laura Geller Baked Blush -N- Brighten in Tropic Hues
Bronzer: Revolution Mega Bronzer in 01 Cool
Highlight: The Balm’s Mary Lou-Manizer
I wanted a subtle blush so I used the Stila cream blush before powdering my face and then I went in with a little bit of the Laura Geller blush to give a nice sheen to the skin. I just reviewed the Revolution Mega Bronzer. If you’d like to check it out, click here.

Top liner: NYX That’s the Point Hella Fine liquid liner
Bottom lash line: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On pencil in Perversion
Brows: Revolution Brow Pencil in Taupe
Brow Gel: NYX Control Freak Brow Gel
Mascara: Too Faced Damn Girl! mascara
Eye shadow Palette (No Pictures): Colourpop Truly Madly Deeply palette
Shadows Used: Transition- Lay Low, Crease- Cut Outs, Inner Lid- Sweet Dreams, Outer Lid: Pretty Cruel, Browbone- Mary Lou-Manizer
I can’t believe I forgot to take pictures of the palette! I’m so sorry π’ You can find the palette on the Colourpop site or possibly Ulta, which is where I purchased mine. It took a while to do my eyes because my liner decided to smudge so I had to start from scratch, isn’t that just so annoying?? The NYX brow gel honestly isn’t my favorite but it gets the job done so I’ll use it until it is finished. I really love the Too Faced mascara, I want to get the full size. The brush is huge but I love that. It really adds drama to my lashes in a non spidery kind of way.

Lip Stain: Benefit’s Posie Tint
Liquid Lipstick: The Balm’s Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Chivalrous
I put the Posie tint on when I started my makeup so that it would be dry by the time I wanted to put my liquid lipstick on. The two colors worked well together and when the liquid lipstick wore off, I still had a bit of the Posie Tint on my lips.

Setting spray: Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you’ll know that I love my setting sprays but this one is probably my holy grail. I will always repurchase it, usually the two pack at Christmas. Let’s take a look at the final look!
There you have it. A nice winter to spring look. This really helped me yesterday, playing with my makeup. I felt beautiful and that really lifted my spirits. If you’re down and are hating the quarantine, play with your makeup. Seriously, it helps. I did have to do some work on my brows because they came out a tiny bit too dark, I put too much on. The Balm’s liquid lipstick was much more comfortable than I remember it being when I first purchased it at IMATS. I must be getting used to the feeling! Hurray, haha. Thank you so so much for stopping by and checking out this post, it really does mean a lot to me. I would love it if you would subscribe and follow here and over on Instagram (@ emmadelfosse_mua).
