March 2020 Favorites

Hello, my beauties! Thank you for stopping by to have a peek at my March favorites. I’m not only talking about my beauty favorites but also a few other things I’ve been loving this month. It was a tough decision narrowing down what I wanted to share with you. Come take a look!

The first favorites, up to bat! If you had seen my last post you’ll see that I have been loving the Norvina (original) palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I love how the colors go so well with spring, which is on its way! I’ve been loving the Gigi Gorgeous ‘The Sick Sculpt’ duo in Turnt+Extra. I received this in one of my Ipsy plus boxes and I absolutely adore it. It’s not too dark or too orange which is always a struggle for me to find. One of the lip products I’ve been adoring is the Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y. I can just slap this on and it looks really good with any type of makeup look (well, all that I’ve tried anyway). It’s not really long so it fits nicely into my purse. The last product I’ve worn at least half the day’s I’ve worn makeup this month is the Colourpop Blush Stix in ‘More is More’. This is such a gorgeous, shimmery color. It looks a little darker in the stick than it turns out on the skin, which totally works for me. This just gives my cheeks a nice and healthy flush, sort of like I just came into a warm house from being outside in the cold.

The second palette I’ve really been loving this month is Truly Madly Deeply by Colourpop. I just picked this up from Ulta and I cannot put it down! The colors are gorgeous. I used this palette for a look I posted earlier this week. Click here if you’d like to check it out! The other blush I’ve been loving is the Laura Geller Baked Blush -N- Brighten in Tropic Hues. This is one of my favorite powder blushes. The marbled pattern, with the mix of colors with some shimmer. It’s so beautiful! I started using a new primer this month and it’s the First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer. I got this in my Ipsy box and at first, I was wary of it but I’ve decided that it’s actually pretty good. It definitely soothes my skin before I put my makeup on, which I absolutely love! Another lip product I’ve been loving is the Revlon Colorburst lip butter in 063 ‘Wild Watermelon’. I absolutely ADORE these lip products but unfortunately, they’ve been discontinued but I can still find them on Amazon. They’re just so comfortable on the lips and they’re so hydrating but they’re also very pigmented but you can pat it on for a subtler look.

The last palette from this month is the Huda Beauty Nude Light palette. Whenever I wanted a softer eye look or just something simple, I’ve been reaching for this palette. This palette has quickly become a staple in my collection because I reach for it so often. LOVE! There are two highlighters I’ve loved this month Essence Pure Nude highlighter in 10 ‘Be My Highlight’ and Colourpop Lite Stix in ‘Urth’. I’ve been using the Essence one on days when I didn’t want to spend forever doing my makeup. Not want, just when I didn’t have time is more like it. I used the Colourpop one on the days when I wasn’t planning to powder my whole face. I also used it on my makeup no makeup days. It was subtle enough to work for those days but when I wanted more, I could easily build it up. The last lip product is something I bought because I heard that it was like the Revlon Colorburst and this is the L’Oreal Color Riche Shine in 908 ‘Sparkling Rose’. I just got t this month and it is just stunning. It is very comfortable to wear and it gives my lips that ‘my lips but better’ look. It’s a really nice pinky nude and it goes on sheer but it can be built up easily.

Now for my 3 non-beauty favorites. First, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling. Now, this isn’t my first time reading it, try my fifth. All I can say is, I love it. So there’s that. I have been loving using my Color It Glitter Gel Pens on both my coloring books and the cards that I make. I got mine from Amazon and they even came with a refill for each color! I’ve never seen that done before and I think it’s fabulous because now I don’t have to not use a pen because I don’t want to use it up. Lastly, we have the coloring book, 100 Amazing Patterns by Jade Summer. I used to hate coloring books like this but now that I have markers that I like, I love them! I love the Jade Summer books so when I saw this I put it on my Wishlist and a friend got it for me. So far I’ve finished five pages. I only color this in bed because the repetitive patterns help to calm me down and get me ready for sleep. It’s very relaxing.
