Hello beauties and happy Sunday! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I know you have your choice of blogs and I thank you for choosing mine 😉 Today I am sharing another makeup look from this week. With this look, however, I had no plan as to what it would look like. I was just playing around by grabbing a random palette from my collection and decided to see what I could make of it and this was the result. I hope you find something helpful or a product you want to try in today’s post!

Base:
Primer- Becca Backlight Priming Filter
Foundation- Revolution Conceal and Define foundation in F2
Concealer- Revolution Conceal and Define concealer in C1 and C3
Powder (eyes only)- Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 003 Natural
I absolutely adore the base products that I can get by Makeup Revolution. Their tones and shades work really well with my fair skin. They have great coverage without feeling heavy or cakey once it’s been applied. I find that it melts into my skin and gives a second skin type of look. I used to be afraid of the Becca primer because it was shimmery and I was afraid it would look bad on my skin but I have discovered the opposite. It really wakes my skin up and gives me a very subtle natural glow when under my foundation. Any foundation.

Face:
Cream Blush- Colourpop Blush Stix in ‘More is More’
Cream Highlighter- Colourpop Lite Stix in ‘Urth’
Powder Blush- Milani Luminoso
Powder Highlighter- The Balm’s ‘Mary Lou-Manizer’
Bronzer- Gigi Gorgeous The Sick Sculpt Duo Bronzer in Turnt+Extra
The past few weeks, since the quarantine anyway, I’ve been using a lot of my cream and liquid blushes and highlighters because I don’t feel the need to powder or bake my entire face. I’ve been loving the healthy glow it gives my skin. I do top it with a powder product just to intensify the cream product and to lock it into place. I definitely want more of the Lite and Blush Stix from Colourpop. I use a beauty blender to apply my cream products, it helps me to not be so heavy handed. If I try to apply it with my fingers I feel I wind up looking like a clown. The bronzer is something I got in one of my Ipsy boxes and I’ve been loving it! I like that I can use either the light side, or the dark side, or mix both sides together!

Eyebrows:
Brow pencil- Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil in the shade 2
Brow Gel- NYX Control Freak clear brow gel
I hadn’t used the Precisely, My Brow before so I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looked once I put it on. It was easy to control and the fine tip gave me more control as to where the pencil went, which I loved. I’ve been using the NYX brow gel for a few months now and while it’s good, it’s not my favorite. I would repurchase it in a pinch.

Eyes (pt. 1):
Top liner- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Perversion
Waterline- Colourpop BFF Creme Gel Liner in Piggy Bank
Mascara- Wander Beauty Mile High Club mascara
I am absolutely in love with the BFF Creme Gel Liners from Colourpop. They have great colors and not only that, the colors are just as vibrant as the packaging makes them seem! Perversion has been a staple in my eyeliner section for years and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. The mascara has it’s good days and it’s bad days, today was a good day. It makes my lashes look nice but I have others I know I like better but this came in an Ipsy box so I can’t really complain.

Eyes (pt.2):
Eyeshadow palette- Anastasia Beverly Hills Carli Bybel palette
Transition- Chai
Crease- Bybel
Outer lid- Libra
Inner lid- Mandala
Inner corner and brow bone- Boli
I really need to remember to take this out more often, I had forgotten how much I love the color story in this palette. My favorite shades are Mandala (third in from the left top) and Boli (first top left). They are as beautifully pigmented as other ABH palettes. There is quite a bit of kick up from the matte shades because they are so soft but I use a gentle hand so it’s not too bad.

Lips:
Lip liner- MAC Boldly Bare
Lipstick- MAC Fanfare (Cremesheen formula)
A soft smokey eye look, not what I was expecting to get but I’m really pleased. I am glad I kept the rest of my makeup soft and simple that way the eyes could really stand out.
