Hello my beauties and thanks for stopping by on such a dreary Southern California day. The look I created for today’s post was inspired by the ocean. Or, at least, what I think the ocean is like. I haven’t been able to go to the ocean since I was 9 because sand and wheelchairs do not cooperate well. I used the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea collection palette. It just felt appropriate and since I’ve barely touched this palette, I figured it was time to give it a real test run. To see what I used to create my look, keep on reading!

Base:
Primer- Cover FX Blurring Primer
Foundation- Colourpop No Filter Foundation in Fair 30
Concealer- Colourpop No Filter Concealer in Fair 08 and Light 12

Cream highlight- Benefit Watt’s Up?
Cream blusher- Tarte Flush cheek stain
Powder blush- Revolution Blusher Reloaded in Rose Kiss
Powder highlight- MAC Soft and Gentle

Eyes:

Transition- Tempted (Urban Decay)
Crease- Magnet (Urban Decay)
Outer lid and crease- Deep Blue (Tarte)
Inner and center lid- Surf’s Up (Tarte)
Inner lid topper- Aquaholic (Tarte, glitter)
Inner corner and browbone- Buried Gold (Tarte)

Eyes and Brows and Lips:
Eyeliner- Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eyeliner in Perversion and High Tide (I think)
Brows- Benefit Gimme Brow in shade 2
Lips- Phase Zero liquid lipstick in Undercover
This is the final look! I don’t usually go for blue but I’m really happy with how this look came out. It’s hard to see, but in the inner part of my eyelid has blue glitter from the Tarte palette. I did wear false lashes, if you didn’t notice I don’t have a mascara on my list of products used for this look, but I don’t know what the brand is because I keep my lashes in a lash box that I got this past year at IMATS. You may not be able to know which lashes you’re wearing but it is so so SO useful in storing lashes. Six pairs to a tray and three trays. I have to say I really like the liquid lipstick, I just got it in my most recent Ipsy box. It’s a gorgeous pinky nude color and it’s very comfortable on the lips.
Have you tried this Tarte palette? I would love to know what looks you’ve come up with! I cannot thank you enough for stopping by and reading today’s post, it really means the world.
