Purple Glam Makeup Look

Hello my beauties and welcome back or, if you’re new, welcome! Today I want to share with you a glam makeup look featuring purple! My best friend helped me come up with the idea for the post. We decided it would be good to show that, even during quarantine, we can still play with makeup and get totally glammed up. Even if it’s just for yourself. Through much back and forth we came up with this idea and then I flushed it out. I hope you will enjoy and be inspired by the look I’ve created.

Base:
Face Primers- Cover FX Blurring Primer and Becca Backlight Priming Filter
Eye Primers- NYX Jumbo Pencil in 604 ‘Milk’* and Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Foundation- Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation in ‘Fair Sand’
Concealer- Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer in C1 and C3 (Project Pan)
Eye Setting Powder- Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder* in 003 Natural
I love this Tarte foundation, it is most definitely full coverage which is what I love. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, though, which is a big added bonus. I use the ‘Milk’ pencil as one of my primers because it is white which makes my colored eyeshadow appear brighter on my eyes than if I had used just the Primer Potion. The Revolution concealers are probably my most loved concealers at the moment. They are full coverage but they don’t look cakey and when I set them, they don’t crease. They have a pretty wide shade range so I would definitely suggest checking them out! C3 is also in my Project Pan which I did an update on this week, check it out here.

Face:
Baking Powder- Laura Mercier Translucent Powder (Project Pan)
Face Powder- Laura Geller Baked Balance -N- Glow Illuminating Foundation* in Porcelain
Contour- Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light to Medium in ‘Fawn’
Blush- Laura Geller Baked Blush -N- Brighten* in ‘Tropic Hues’
Highlighter- Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Prismatic Amethyst
Bronzer- Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer (Project Pan)
The Laura Geller blush I used for today’s look is one of my absolute favorite blushes. I got a small sample in an Ipsy bag a few years ago and I now have the full size version and a back-up. Her powder foundation is newer to my collection but I find it give my skin a nice ‘lit from within’ sort of look. The Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is something I’m not too keen on now, especially since it’s in my project pan. I use such little bronzer that, even though I use it almost every day, I haven’t even made a dent in it. I may switch it out for something else. I love the Prismatic Amethyst highlight, I love highlighter that have a slightly purple, blue, green, any color shift. I find it gives a makeup look a bit of interest.

Brows:
Brow Pencil- Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil in Shade 2
Brow Gel- NYX Control Freak Brow Gel*
The Benefit brow pencil is newer to my collection but I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit. The NYX brow gel is great for when you don’t want a super strong hold, when you want your brows to look more natural, this product is fabulous.

Eyes (pt. 1):
Top liner- Illamasqua Liquid Liner in ‘Black’
Waterline (Inner half)- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in ‘Midnight Cowboy’
Waterline (Outer half)- Colourpop BFF Creme Gel Liner in ‘Piggy Bank’
Mascara- Too Faced ‘Damn Girl!’ mascara
I am also wearing False Lashes but I keep them in a lash box and I can’t remember the brand or the style but they are a little clumpy and longer on the outer edge than on the inner edge. I love this Too Faced mascara, actually I love all their mascaras to be honest, it really gives my lashes volume and length. The brush is a bit large so you have to be careful when applying it so you don’t get it all over your lid but otherwise I love it. I also adore the Colourpop liners, I love all of the colors they’re so bright! Definitely ones to try if you like colorful liners.

Eyes (pt. 2):
Eyeshadow Palettes Used- Huda Beauty ‘Amethyst Obsessions’ and The Pigment Palace ‘Modern Royalty’ palette
Shadows:
-Transition: HB Bottom left corner
-Crease- HB Top right corner
-Outer lid- HB Top row, center
-Inner lid- HB Bottom row, center
-Inner corner and crease- PP Gold glitter, Top row second from the left
-Browbone- PP White glitter, Top row second from right
The Pigment Palace palette is the first and only palette I have purchased solely because of the packaging. I was glad to find out that the shadows are actually great quality. The shadows are buttery and pigmented which makes them really nice and easy to apply. The gold is one of my favorite shades in the palette. The Amethyst Obsessions is a palette I got in my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus and I love it! The quality is just as good as her other palettes, large and small. If you get a chance to try her shadows, I would highly recommend doing it!

Lips:
Lip liner- Lime Crime Velvetines lip liner in ‘Pinky Swear’
Lipstick- Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in ‘Naked’ (Cream finish)
Lip Gloss- Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in ‘Diamond Milk’
This Lime Crime lip liner has very quickly become the lip liner I reach for the most. It’s the perfect pinky nude color for my lips and it doesn’t pull on your lips when you apply it. I really enjoy the Vice lipstick formula, especially the creams. They are pigmented and easy to apply. Now for the Gloss Bombs. I love them! I currently own three and I love them so much! They are super shimmery and they are great to add over lipsticks, especially the Diamond Milke one since it is mostly clear.

Finishing Touches:
Facial Spray- Pixi Glow Mist*
Setting Spray- KVD Vegan Beauty Setting Spray
I love this Pixi Glow mist. It helps to make my makeup look like a second skin when I apply it before my setting spray. I love this setting mist because of it’s sprayer. It’s not quick bursts, it’s a litte shorter than continuous. The mist itself is very fine making it easy to use.

Here is the final look! What do you guys think? I had a lot of fun creating this look, especially the eyes. Thank you so much for stopping by.
