Hello my beauties and thanks for stopping by! Today, I want to share with you my favorites from this past month. This is on the shorter side for my usual favorites post but I was really able to narrow it down to my absolute favorites. I hope you guys are all doing okay being couped up inside, let’s talk about makeup. That always makes me feel better π

Let’s start with the eyes! This month I’ve really been into purple, maybe it was because of Easter… I got a lot of use out of the Huda Beauty Amethyst Obsessions. The colors are so vibrant but also very wearable. The shimmers are creamy and the mattes are smooth and easy to blend. If you’re like me and thought you couldn’t wear purple, give this palette a try! I’ve also been loving a bunch of the Colourpop BFF Creme Gel Liners in Cry Baby (light purple), Puppy (orange), Piggy Bank (purple), CRSSD (yellow), Prance (blue), Electric Daisy (green), and Exit (white, not pictured). This past month I’ve fallen in love with using a bright eyeliner in my waterline while I wear black or brown on the top. I even do it with neutral or natural looks, a pop of color, in my opinion, is great for anything! The liners themself are very creamy and highly pigmented. They are also waterproof, so the waterline is the perfect place for a nice pop of color.

I’ve got two foundations I haven’t been able to get enough of this month. I’m talking about the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Cover Foundation in Fair Sand and the Revlon Colorstay Full Cover Foundation in 150 Buff. Both foundations are full cover which is what I personally prefer because of redness and I never feel my skin looks good enough to use light coverage. They are both almost like a mousse-y texture when you squeeze it out of the tube. The Revlon foundation is matte while the Tarte foundation is more of a natural finish, not too dewy or matte. They are both squeeze tubes which makes it easier to control how much product comes out.

For face products, I’ve been loving a few things. Some of which are new to me and one that is an old-ish favorite. The Revolution Mega Bronzer in 01 Cool is one of my favorites! It’s a cool undertone so it can do double duty as bronzer and contour. It is a little powdery but the pigmentation is perfect in my opinion. It’s not so pigmented that you barely dab it and you get too much product and it’s not so hard that you can’t get any color pay off at all. I also got the Essence Pure Nude highlighter in 10 Be My Highlight. This is the perfect makeup no makeup day highlighter. It is not too blinding and is in fact very natural when applied. There is no glitter or anything like that, which I usually love, but I have really enjoyed using this. The last product is the Natasha Denona Bloom Palette. I really adore the cream products in this palette. The whole palette is gorgeous but the cream product is where it’s at! The ruby-red cream blush is my favorite. I have fair skin but if I apply it using my Beauty Blender it’s the perfect color. I even tried the powder products this month and I really really liked the blush with the ‘ND’ debossed on it. It gives a wonderful sheen when the light hits it and it’s not as scary on the skin as it is in the pan.

I had some nice lip loves this month. Like every month, haha, I love lip products. I’ve been going the way of nude lip products this month and I have been loving the look. First up is my Urban Decay Vice lipstick in Naked (cream). This is a ‘my lips but better’ kind of look. I’ve been wearing it with my Lime Crime Velvetines lip liner in Pinky Swear which I have discovered is the perfect pink nude lip liner for me. Having it under the Vice lipstick gives the lipstick a slightly deeper color which I have found I really enjoy. Then I have two MAC products, Patisserie Lustre lipstick, and the Boldly Bare lip liner. The lip liner is said to be a dirty red-brown but I find it works quite well with the pink of the Patisserie lipstick. Both lipsticks are very creamy and apply like a dream. I used to never wear lip liner but I must have turned a corner because now, more often than not, I reach for a lip liner and these two are my current favorites!

The setting spray I have been obsessed with this month is my Morphe Continuous Setting Mist. The sprayer is amazing and the mist is very fine. I find that when using this setting spray my makeup lasts a good 12+ hours without too much fuss. I have found that it never spits either, which is a big bonus in my opinion. I’ve been loving a lip scrub this month, the Lush Mint Julips lip scrub has been my choice every night this month. This is my second or third jar of Lush’s lip scrubs and I will continue buying them because who doesn’t love Lush? And it’s made of sugar and other natural products so, yum!
