Sephora VIB Sale Haul

Hello my beauties and thank you for stopping by my little corner of the beauty-verse! I had saved every Sephora gift card I’ve been given over the past few years and put them to good use on this sale! I am in no way trying to brag, I love reading these types of posts because I always get such good ideas for some new products to try and I am hoping to encourage you too.

First up, I finally purchased the Too Faced ‘Natural Lust’ palette. I’ve been eyeing this palette since it was released and with the sale, I finally decided to pick it up. It’s so much prettier in person and I already thought it was pretty in the pictures on the Sephora site. The colors are gorgeous neutrals with some really pretty colors. The palette isn’t as large as I thought it was going to be which is a big bonus. It’s also nice and slim making it easy to store.

I was so excited to get my hands on the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette. When it first came out, I wasn’t too keen on it. Then I started watching reviews of it on YouTube and I fell in love with it. The top right corner is probably what finally sold me. I love teals, they can be so pretty. I love the New Nudes palette so much, I’m hoping to love this one just as much!

I finally got my VERY FIRST Natasha Denona eyeshadow palette, I got the Natasha Denona Metropolis palette. I’ve always looked at her palettes but none had ever appealed to me until I saw this one. I wouldn’t have even known to look for this palette if I hadn’t seen it on one of my favorite YouTuber’s channel. It’s a gorgeous palette with some nice pops of color. I am beyond excited to get to use this palette!

I did purchase another Natasha Denona palette, the Natasha Denona ‘Love Glow’ cheek palette. I already own the Bloom palette and absolutely adore it so when I saw this one, I had to try it! Just like the Bloom palette, there are two creams on top and two powders on the bottom. The blushes are so stunning and the gold highlight actually works on my fair skin which is surprising.

Up until this point, I had never tried one of the ‘Sephora Favorites’ kits but when I saw this lip balm one, I figured I would give it a go. It came with two full-size products and three trial size/mini products. The kit is the Give Me Some Balm Lip Kit. This kit includes a full-size Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Lip Balm in Clear and a full-size Tarte Sea Quench Lip Rescue in Rose. The three minis are the Too Faced Peach Mega Moisture Lip Balm in clear, Jouer Cosmetics Essential Lip Enhancer Conditioning Lip Treatment in Translucent Pink, and Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment in Clear. I’m very excited to have a full-size Pat McGrath product, even if it is just a lip balm. I’m always on the hunt for lip balms, I have my favorites but I still love trying new ones too.

Speaking of lip balms, I also got the Farsali Unicorn Antioxidant Lip Mask. I mainly picked this up because it was on clearance. It comes in a gorgeous package with a gold top. It is much smaller than my other pot lip balms but there is still a good amount of product inside the pot. I also bought a back up (like I do every sale) of my favorite Laneige Lip Sleeping Balm in Vanilla. Ever since I tried it about a year and a half ago, I haven’t been able to put it down. I usually put it on at bedtime but if my lips really need some nourishment I will put some on during the day too. I always put it on right before doing my makeup so I can wipe it off right before applying a lip product and have my lips feel hydrated and soft. I wish they would make the mint scent a full size, even if it’s just a limited-edition flavor. I would gladly buy a few of them, I love the vanilla and mint the most.

I bought three other lip products. Lip products and eyeshadow are my two major downfalls when it comes to makeup. I purchased a new Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in ‘Sweet Mouth’ which is pale pink in color. I also purchased two YSL lipsticks. I purchased the YSL Rouge Volupte Rock ‘n Shine in 10 ‘Pink Bass’ and the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil in Stick in 101 ‘Make it Burn’. The YSL lipsticks are so light on the lips, sometimes I forget I’m wearing anything. The colors I got are a gorgeous red and a pretty rose pink color. I wanted to add another Gloss Bomb to my collection and this color really spoke to me. I love pink lip colors! The Fenty Gloss Bombs aren’t too ‘gloopy’ and they look great when applied over a bullet or liquid lipstick.

I finally bought the full size of the Too Faced ‘Damn Girl’ mascara. My favorite mascara is the Too Faced Better Than Sex but this may be taking that spot sooner than later! I also bought the mini size of the Milk Hydro Grip Primer. I have been keeping an eye on this primer since it was released, debating if I should try it. When I saw that it came in a mini size, I figured I would give it a go. I am very excited to try it. I was also in the market for a new brown eyeliner and the Sephora Collection 12 hr Colorful Contour Eyeliner in 12 Cappuccino- Brown Glitter. I’m hoping this is a softer pencil which will make it easier to apply.

The last two products are a few whim purchases. I got the Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops (light) because I like a tan during the summer but I don’t tan with the sun. I love my St. Tropez tanner but this looked like a good product to try. I also bought the Miss Dior Roller Pearl perfume. I love the Blooming Bouquet perfume by Dior so I thought I would give this one a try. I’ve only had a chance to smell it and it smells divine!
