Hello my beauties and thank you for stopping by today! As you saw in my VIB Sale haul post (click here to read it) I picked up the Natasha Denona Metropolis palette and today I got to play with it! I used golds and greens on my eyes which inspired the title. I kept everything else pretty simple so the eyes could be the thing that stands out. Let me show you what I used to create this look!

Base Makeup:
Face primer- Milk Hydro Grip primer
Eye primer- Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original
Foundation- IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream in Fair
Concealer- Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer in C1 and C3
Face powder- Coty Airspun powder in Translucent Extra Coverage (In the Laura Mercier powder mini jar)
Eye area setting powder- Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 003 Natural
I am currently testing out the Milk primer and so far I am very impressed! I love to wear the CC+ cream on days when I don’t want a heavy foundation but want coverage. I do have to set the whole face, though, because it does leave me looking a tad oily.

Face Makeup:
Cream blush- Glow Cream Base from the Natasha Denona Love and Glow face palette
Blush topper- Diamond Powder from the Natasha Denona Love and Glow face palette
Bronzer- Tarte Park Ave Princess, mini size
Highlighter- Marc Jacobs O!Mega Glaze in 80 ‘Worth the Wait’
I love Natasha Denona’s face palettes, this is my second one because I already owned the Bloom palette. I love using the Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer on days when I want a bit of a sheen in my bronzer. With the heat wave that’s happening here I felt a sheeny bronzer would be a good idea.

Eyes:
Brow Pencil- Benefit Precisely, My Brow pencil in shade 2
Brow Gel- NYX Control Freak brow gel
Eyeliner- Illamasqua Liquid Liner in black
Waterline- Colourpop BFF Creme Gel Liner in ‘Exit’
Mascara Primer- L’Oreal Voluminous Primer
Mascara- L’Oreal Waterproof Voluminous Carbon Black mascara
I really love the Colourpop Creme Gel liners because they glide on effortlessly and stay put all day. I’m saving to buy the whole set. I really like using a lash primer especially with drugstore mascaras. It allows my lashes to stand out without the hassle of falsies or glue. The Benefit brow pencil is one of my favorites! I got it in a kit awhile ago but just broke it out and I love it!

Eyeshadow:
Eyeshadow palette- Natasha Denona Metropolis palette
Transition- Rope
Crease and Outer Corner- Lethal
Inner lid- Imporia
Brow bone and Inner Corner- Stila ‘Kitten’ eyeshadow
I am so glad I purchased this palette! I love all of the gorgeous colors. I will be reviewing the palette soon, so be sure to check back soon! I didn’t see any good colors for my brow bone and inner corner so I pulled out my Kitten single and I think that did the trick quite nicely.

Lips:
Lip balm- Pat McGrath Lip Fetish lip balm
Lipstick- YSL Rouge Volupte Rock ‘n Shine in ‘Pink Bass’
I like to use a lip balm when I’m doing my makeup because I feel it preps my lips. Today I used my new Pat McGrath Lip Fetish lip balm before I started my makeup so that my lips would be nice and soft when I went to apply my YSL lipstick. The Pink Bass color is a ‘my lips but better’ sort of color on me. It is a very hydrating lipstick, that’s what I love about the YSL lipsticks I own, they don’t dry my lips out!

Finishing Touches:
Setting Spray- Morphe Continuous Setting Mist
I love this setting spray. It is a nice fine mist and it doesn’t spit! It reminds me of a can of hairspray with how it sprays.
The final look! I stuck to the golds and greens in the palette for this look and I really like how the look turned out. What do you think? What are your favorite palettes?
