Glam Green Makeup Look

Hello, my beauties and welcome back! Or if you’re new, welcome! Today I want to share with you a look I’ve created using the Natasha Denona Metropolis palette that I got during the VIB sale (thank you gift cards!). Enough babbling, let’s jump into the Glam Green look!

Base:
Face Primer- Milk Hydro Grip Primer (mini)
Foundation- Colourpop No Filter Foundation in Fair 30
Concealer- Revolution Conceal and Define concealer in C1 and C3 (Project Pan)
Under Eye Powder- Coty Airspun Translucent Extra Coverage (In the Laura Mercier Mini Jar)
Eye Primer Setting Powder- Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 003 Natural
Face Powder- Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder (provided by Influenster for purpose of review)
Right now I am testing out the Milk primer to see if I like it enough to get the larger size, so far so good. I love my Colourpop foundation, it gives great coverage but is very light on the skin. Very easy to blend. I put the Coty powder in my mini Laura Mercier powder jar because the Coty powder container is huge and doesn’t fit in my powder storage. So far I’m loving the Urban Decay powder, be sure to keep you’re eyes peeled for a review!

Face:
Blush- Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Quad- Ghost in Infinite Flush
Bronzer- Ambient Lighting Edit in Luminous Bronze Light
Highlighter- Maybelline x NikkieTutorials Master Chrome highlighter
Finishing Powder- Ambient Lighting Edit in Diffused Light
Unfortunately, the two palettes I used are no longer available but I will link to the singles if there is one. I love the Hourglass holiday palettes especially last year when they came out with a bonus just blush one. Again, the highlighter I used was also limited edition (sorry about that) and was only available at Ulta but it’s an almost perfect dupe of the Mary Lou- Manizer by The Balm.

Eyes and Brows:
Eye Primer- NYX Proof It! eye primer (Project Pan)
Brow Pencil- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe
Brow Gel- NYX Control Freak brow gel
Waterline- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Liner in Perversion
Top Liner- Illamasqua Black liquid liner
I’ve really been loving my Brow Wiz recently, I find it gives me really defined brows. Right now, I’m just trying to finish off my Illamasqua liner because I want to use other things but don’t want to open them until this one is done. Is anybody else like that? At first I didn’t like the Control Freak brow gel but it’s really grown on me and now I love it. As for the Urban Decay liner, it is my holy grail black pencil liner, what’s yours?

Eyeshadow:
Eyeshadow Palette- Natasha Denona Metropolis Palette
Transition Shade- Lethal
Crease Shade- Royal
Lid Shade- Shield
Inner Lid Shade- Orium
I am absolutely head over heels for this palette! If I am to only own one Natasha Denona palette, I am glad I chose this one. The mattes are smooth and blendable and the shimmers are so creamy and easy to apply with little to no fall out. I’m hoping to do a look with the blues next!

Lips:
Lipstick- MAC Patisserie (Project Pan)
Lip Gloss- Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Sweet Mouth [light pink]
Ever since I put the MAC lipstick in my Project Pan, I’ve discovered how much I actually like it- which is a lot! On me, it’s the perfect ‘my lips but better’ shade. Then when I decided to add the gloss at the last minute, it took it to a whole nother level. It’s a lighter pink than Fu$$y but looks really nice on the lips. It’s the same formula as the others, which I love. I don’t find it to be sticky or ‘gloopy’ on my lips which is a big bonus in my book. I usually do my trick of sticking my pointer finger into my mouth, closing my lips, and pulling my finger out to get off any lip gloss that could cause those little strands when you open your mouth. Not the most graceful technique but it works really well.

Finishing Touches:
Mascara- Monsieur Big Waterproof mascara
Setting Spray- KVD Beauty Lock- It setting spray
I’m still formulating my ideas about the Monsieur Big mascara, so stay tuned for that. I really like the mist on the Lock-It setting mist. The mist itself is very fine and while it’s not a continuous spray, it doesn’t come out in burst like other sprays either.

Here is the final look, what do you think? Since the eyes were the ‘star’ of the show, I wanted to keep everything a bit softer and more natural. I love the greens, especially the yellow green shimmer I used on the inner part of my lid. Great for daytime or a night out, it’s a versatile look!
