Hello my beauties, today I’m here with a bit of a shorter post. I recently got the chance to try out the Milk Hydro Grip Primer and I wanted to share my thoughts on the product. I hope you enjoy today’s post and find it informative and helpful!

I picked up the miniature size of the Milk Hydro Grip Primer during the recent Sephora VIB sale. I picked up the mini size because I wasn’t sure that I was going to like it. I had heard good things but I can never fully know how my skin will react to a product until I try it out on my own. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the product, it was a little bit smaller than I had expected. It fits perfectly into the palm of my hand.

The product comes in a plastic tube with a pump mechanism at the top to dispense the product. One pump equals about a pea-size amount of product as you can see in the picture on the right. I found, surprisingly, I only really needed that pea-size (sometimes a pea and a half) to cover my entire face. Once applied, the primer dries down to a slightly tacky finish. I have found that, against what I thought, my foundation applies beautifully on top of the primer and doesn’t “get stuck” or drag around when I’m trying to apply it. I also found that it made my foundation stay in place for longer than if I had used another of my moisturizing or smoothing primers. I find the gel texture to be refreshing. It didn’t feel greasy or heavy on my skin when I applied it. In fact, it felt the opposite, it felt quite cooling and refreshing. I have only used it a few times but after those few times, I can see that I really like the Milk Hydro Grip Primer. When I run out of this, I will definitely be repurchasing the full-size product.
