Pink and Purple Makeup Look

Hello my beauties, and welcome back and hello! Today I decided to play around with one of my older palettes, the Morphe 35B palette which is discontinued. I’ve had mine for a while but it still performs beautifully. I wanted to create a bright, summery look and I wound up using the pinks and purples in the palette. Keep reading to see what I used to create a bright and summery look!

Base

Primer- Becca Backlight Priming Filter
Foundation- Maybelline Fit Me Dewy and Smooth foundation in 105 Fair Ivory
Concealer- Revolution Conceal and Define concealer in C1 and C3 (Project Pan)
Baking Powder- Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Setting Powder in Butter
Setting Powder- Laura Geller Baked Balance -n- Glow Illuminating Foundation in Porcelain
I wanted more of a dewy finish which is why I reached for my Fit Me Dewy foundation. I didn’t want to look too dewy bordering oily, so I made sure to set it with powder. I used a powder with a bit of shine to it so that my face wouldn’t be totally flat.

Face

Blush- Laura Geller Baked Blush -n- Brighten in Tropic Hues
Bronzer- Gigi Gorgeous The Sick Sculpt Bronzer Duo
Highlighter- Fenty Beauty Killawatt highlighter in Fire Crystal
This Laura Geller blush is one of my favorite powder blushes. I got a mini of the shade in an old Ipsy bag and when I ran out of that I immediately purchased the full size. It’s very natural looking and looks great on my fair skin. I just got the Fenty highlighter not too long ago and I have really been enjoying it. One side is more subtle than the other so you’re set for day and night!

Brows and Eyes

Brow Pencil- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe
Brow Gel- Benefit 3D Browtones in Shade 2
Top Liner- Illamasqua liquid liner in Black
Waterline- Colourpop Bff Creme Gel Liner in Piggy Bank
Eye Primer- NYX Proof It! eye primer (Project Pan)
Eye Setting Powder- Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 003 Natural
I have truly fallen in love with using the brightly colored eyeliners from Colourpop in my Waterline no matter what I’m wearing. It just gives that little extra pop to my eyes. While this time I used a brow pencil and the Benefit 3D Browtones together, a lot of times I’ll just use the Browtones if I’m doing a quick makeup look or don’t have time to do my whole brow routine.

Eyeshadow

Eyeshadow Palette- Morphe 35B palette
Inner Corner/Brow Bone- Meech and Mia White loose shadow
Halo- MAC Tan pigment
I wanted to do a halo eye but none of the colors in the palette would work so I went on the hunt and decided to play with my Tan MAC pigment. It worked really well in my opinion. Not super subtle but not over the top either. It was the perfect pick. I used only the pink and purple tones of eyeshadow for this look (hence the title, lol). They are still very pigmented and blend beautifully.

Finishing Touches

Lips- Neutrogena Hydro Boost lip gloss in Vibrant Raspberry (Project Pan)
Mascara- Colourpop BFF Volumizing Mascara in Black on Black
Setting Spray- Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray (not pictured)
I adore this lip gloss! It’s highly pigmented but is also moisturizing without feeling oily. It does wear off since it is a lip gloss but it wears off pretty easily. As for the Colourpop mascara, it is one of my favorite mascaras. It makes my lashes look so lush I can’t stand it.

Final Look

Here it is, the final look. What do you think? I’m really pleased with how this turned out, especially since a random number generator picked my eyeshadow palette! I think the Tan pigment worked nicely with the purples and the pinks.
