Glam Makeup Look

Hello, my beauties, and thanks for coming by! Today I wanted to share with you a look I created yesterday for this post. It started out as a normal look but them morphed into a glam makeup look. Not that I’m complaining, I love going glam. For others this may not be a glam makeup look and I could agree, it’s a good mix between every day and full on glam. I love walking that line! Let me show you what I used to get my look!

Base Makeup:

Primer: E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer
Foundation- Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation in Fair Sand
Concealer- Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer in C1 and C3 (Project Pan)
Setting Powder- Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 003 Natural
I not only used the Rimmel Powder to set my face but I also used it to set my eye primer as well when I did my eyes. I love the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation! It’s full coverage which is what I prefer but it doesn’t look cakey when you apply it and set it. I will always repurchase this. You will notice a few of the products in this look are from my Project Pan. You can read my latest update here. I do really like the E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer, especially for the price. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Face Makeup:

Cream Blush: Stila Convertible Blush in Petunia
Powder Blush: NARS Orgasm
Bronzer: Revolution Mega Bronzer in 01 Cool
Highlighter: Maybelline x NikkieTutorials Master Chrome Highlighter (Project Pan)
I hate that the Maybelline x NikkieTutorials highlighter is discontinued because out of all of my beloved highlighters, this one is probably my favorite. I certainly use it the most. The Revolution bronzer is perfect for my fair skin and is great for some light contouring because of the cooler undertone. I love doing a cream blush then topping it with a powder blush, I feel it gives both products more staying power especially on hot days. I also find that a double blush really helps to make a glam makeup look.

Eyes and Brows:

Eye Primer: NYX Proof It! eye primer (Project Pan)
Cut Crease Primer: Revolution Cut Crease Canvas in Halo
Waterline: Colourpop BFF Creme Gel Liner in Exit
Top Liner: Illamasqua liquid liner in Black
Brow Pencil: Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil in shade 2
Brow Gel: NYX Control Freak brow gel
I’ve really been loving the Benefit brow pencil I used for this look. It’s only a mini size but it will still last me a good long while. I want to try more of the Benefit brow products because of this product! The Illamasqua liquid liner has become my go to liquid liner but since there’s no special name I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I haven’t used my Cut Crease Canvas in a long time but when I applied it today, I remembered why I liked it in the first place. It creates a perfect base for doing the technique.

Eyeshadow:

Eyeshadow Palette: Too Faced Chocolate Gold
Transition: So Boujee
Crease: Cocoa Truffle
Outer lid: Money Bags
Cut Crease/Inner Lid: New Money
Inner Corner: Chocolate Gold
I don’t use this palette as much as I should so I’m glad I pulled it out to use today. I think it’s perfect for a glam makeup look. They are pigmented and very easy to apply. The palette is almost all shimmers having only four matte shades. The shimmers apply and layer nicely with a brush and a finger, so you have options.

Finishing Touches:

Mascara Primer: L’Oreal Voluminous Base
Mascara: L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black
Lipstick: MAC Patisserie (Project Pan)
Lip Gloss: Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Diamond Milk
Setting Spray: KVD Lock It Setting Spray
Today was the best day ever with the L’Oreal lash combo, I looked like I was wearing falsies! My lashes were big and bam in your face. I used the MAC lipstick because it’s a good nude and with the eye look being so bright and vibrant, I didn’t want the two competing. I added the gloss because I think a glossy lip is perfect with any look. Juicy lips look great during the summer. I used my KVD setting spray because I really wanted to test it out to see how it would hold up in the hot weather. (It did very well)

Here’s the final look. I’ve just started putting shadow along my lower lash line so it’s going to take some work but I’m enjoying how it looks so far. I am glad I decided to use gold on my inner corner, I feel it really tied the whole eye look together. I kept the rest of the face soft because I knew the eyes were going to be a bit out there. What do you think of the look? I’d love your feedback!
