Hello my beauties and thank you for sticking with my during my hiatus but I’m back now! My new schedule will be down below but for now let’s talk favorites! This month I definitely had quite a few favorites, makeup, body care, and a book! Let’s jump right in.

Let’s start with the book, I’m still reading (and loving) Makeup Man by Michael Westmore. I got this at IMATS two years ago and I just love reading it. It’s the perfect give for yourself or for any makeup lover in your life. It’s 300 pages and can be a quick read but I’m taking my time with it, it’s funny and educational at the same time. Definitely go and check it out.

I’ve been loving three body product from Bath and Body Works this month. The Japanese Cherry Blossom Diamond Shimmer Mist, the Almond Blossom Fine Fragrance Mist (retired scent), and I’ve especially been loving their Eucalyptus and Tea Stress Relief Body Cream. With everything that’s been going on, the stress relief body cream has been my best buddy. I’ve been wearing the Cherry Blossom mist when I’m wearing tank tops or going out, I love the extra sparkle. When I want something a bit more subtle, I go for the Almond Blossom. I got it during the last sale, I loved it so much I bought two more so I won’t run out for a good long while.

Now for the makeup I’ve been loving… it’s a lot! Let’s start with the E.L.F. Putty Eye Primer. I absolutely love this eye primer, it’s very quickly making it’s way to holy grail status. I will be doing a full review of the product soon. I’ve been loving two eyeliners, Suva Beauty Cake liner in Grease and Sephora Colorful Waterproof eyeliner in 12 Cappuccino. I got the Suva Beauty liner in an Ipsy bag awhile ago but I’ve really started using it this past month and now I want more colors! It goes on so nicely, is so pigmented, and stays all day! I use it with the Suva Beauty brush that came with it and it just glides on. LOVE. I picked up the Sephora liner during the sale because I needed a brown eyeliner and I am so surprised by how much I have been using this one. It is creamy and pigmented and works really well in the waterline on days when I want less of a makeup makeup-y look. I bought a new bronzer this month, the Wet n Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Palm Beach Ready. This summer I’ve really been getting into bronzer and when I saw this one, I really wanted to try it because there is a shimmer to it. It’s nice and buildable, I don’t have to worry too much about getting too much on my face on the first go. It blends beautifully into the skin and isn’t too shimmery. I also bought the Revolution Highlighter Reloaded in Just My Type this month. It’s the perfect just kissed gold kind of look that actually works on my fair skin. A little goes a long way with this highlighter. For foundation I’ve been really loving my Maybelline Fit Me Dewy and Smooth Foundation in 105 Fair Ivory. This has been playing really well with my skin this month. When I check my makeup when wearing this I don’t find that my skin is too dewy and even when I add powder it doesn’t remove all of the glow the foundation gives. The Dose of Colors liquid lipstick in ‘Stone’ has been my go to lip look for the month of July. It’s a great nude on me that isn’t too nude. It doesn’t wash me out and the formula is very comfortable for me, it doesn’t completely dry out my lips. Lastly I’ve been really loving my Colourpop Supershock shadows in Fringe, Ladybird (P.P.), and Lovely. I use these with my Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette and they make for a great quick eye look. Just being able to swipe the shadow on and go, without dirtying a brush, has made makeup so quick and easy this month. I’m definitely going to try and pull new ones for next month!
That’s it! Yeah, I guess it’s a lot isn’t it? Being stuck at home means more makeup play time, that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it- lol. What have you been loving this month? I’d love to know! Thank you so much for stopping by today, your support means the world to me. As of now, I will be posting every Wednesday and Friday at a time to be determined at a later date.
