Hello my beauties, and welcome back! Today I want to share my opinions on the newer E.L.F. Putty Eye Primer. I purchased this product from Ulta, even though it didn’t have the best reviews but I like the original Putty Primer so I thought I would give it a try. Here’s what I have to say…

The putty itself comes in six different shades, black, four nude shades, and white. I went with the white because I feel that a white base is the best base color to make your eyeshadow more vibrant. This is a thick cream, you just swipe your finger over the product and one swipe seems to be the best amount. On the Ulta site, the reviews aren’t the best. The negative ones talk mainly about dry eyelids, that it’s chalky, and it’s extremely hard to blend out. I was lucky I guess, the primer has become my favorite- maybe even my Holy Grail eye primer. I don’t find it to be dry at all and I don’t have a problem blending it out. This really smoothes out my lids and the white color really does make my shadows brighter. I haven’t had any problems with creasing or shadows traveling. I would definitely say 100% that it’s at least worth a try, especially at $5. Check it out on Ulta.
